| How Does The CatGenie Work? |
| Instead of litter, the CatGenie uses cat-comfy washable granules that look and feel like litter. Liquid waste is drained and solids get scooped automatically (you never touch the litter). All waste gets liquified for safe and easy disposal down the drain and out your home's plumbing. The few granules which are washed out are biodegradable in septic or sewer. When you activate the cycle, the Cat-safe SaniSolution washes, scrubs, and scours the granules and cat box interior. A built-in dryer blows hot air through the granules to dry them completely. Run the CatGenie at least one cycle daily for each cat using the CatGenie. When you run the CatGenie, 26 minutes are quiet as a purr. During three short periods, you'll hear the sound of water draining similiar in volume to that of your washing machine. Process takes 30 minutes. |
| What are CatGenie's Hookup Requirements? |
| Locate your CatGenie in the bathroom or utility room or anywhere there is a cold water connection, drainage, and electrical power. With your purchase, you receive a 1/2" T adaptor for bathroom and 3/4" adaptor for utility or laundry room. You screw the "T" onto your cold water intake line was the washing machine, toilet, or sink. The hose drain hooks over a toilet rim or drain pipe behind the washing machine. The CatGenie needs an electrical outlet for power. |
| How Many Cat Can Use One Unit and How Often Do You Run the CatGenie? |
| Each CatGenie can usually accomodate one or two cats (in rare cases, three cats used to sharing a litter box might use it). Run the CatGenie at least one cycle daily for each cat using the box. |
| When Should You Replace CatGenie Granules and SaniSolution? |
| You can run the CatGenie 60 times per SaniSolution cartridge. Replace the washable granules in about six months. |
